Texting while driving is a serious issue. Your Allstar Dodge Dealer serving Bridgeton is committed to keeping it’s blog readers informed with the latest safety information. With April being National Distracted Driver Awareness month, we wanted to give a friendly reminder to all our readers that texting while driving can be a fatal mistake to yourself or someone else on the road. No message is more important than your life or the life of others on the road. Make a commitment to stay off of your phone while driving, even for that quick second it takes to read or respond to a text message.
Each year, too many lives are lost in that quick second. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Association about 6,000 deaths and a half a million injuries are caused by distracted drivers every year.
We value our customers and we want them to remain safe. In our opinion, 1 life lost due to distracted driving is one too many. We take safety seriously and we are committed to providing our consumers with the best in safety features. While many Dodge cars and trucks are equipped with the most updated safety features, consumers have to take responsibility for their driving behaviors when behind the wheel. Many families are adopting no cell phone contracts, where each member of driving age in a family, signs an agreement stating they will not talk on the phone or text while driving and the other family members are responsible for holding them accountable. Consider creating one of these contracts for your family. Always remember safety first. To check out some of the available features on the newest Dodge vehciles, stop in and see us today.

What Exactly Does Certified Mean?
The actual inspection a car or truck must go through before being stamped certified is rigorous to say the least. Some of the commonly found inspection standards are: General Evaluation-this includes inspection of the safety systems, mirrors, lights, brakes, steering, and an overall engine evaluation. The vehicles electrical, engine cooling system, seatbelts, air condition and power steering is also evaluated. An interior evaluation, exterior assessment, required service and maintenance assessment, as well as an exterior detailing analysis are also conducted with each inspection.
As always, your Missouri Certified Jeep Dealer can answer any questions you may have regarding the inspection process. Manufacturers stand behind these certifications and want to make sure you are getting the best vehicle available.
